Bases Auto-Produce units?

Except a lack of heroes, believe it or not, our infantry seemed to be serving a similar function in their zergy-manner to the supposed mooks of that type of game.- although prehaps our "heroes" were our skilled players.- imagine for a moment that the spaces between each base are individual matches.

Barring these, perhaps we have a missing link?

This may alleviate some of the problems- would it be possible to setup a script for somebody's player to simply walk towards the enemy base upon the road and stop in the gen room? If we can set multiple instances of these mindlessly walking drones to stop and shoot at other mindlessly shooting drones, then mayhaps we have a bit of a solution.

Almost reminds me of MOBA type games. But done in a way that seems better.

Also just realised that it sounds a lot like Precinct assault from Future Cop

(pardon the rather cheesy tutorial for it, this was back in 98-99 when that was the norm)

I put quite some thought into a bot system for PS1. Maybe someday I'll post it. It was more thought out than this.

The concept is interesting, but I think we`re in for quite some problems.
You will either get snipers or storm troopers.

PlanetSide is built for humans and their natural mistakes.
It will be nigh-impossible to create something like this.

I`m not against this at the moment. I`m interested to see how something like this will play out.
